Daniel Braun

Daniel Braun has over 15 years of experience in the real estate and construction industry working for institutional investors, private individuals as well as corporations from various industries. His passion is building real estate portfolios with a specific focus and their further development with an emphasis on sustainability.

As a long-standing portfolio manager, he is responsible for the direct real estate investments of a Swiss pension fund, with the portfolio comprising mixed-use existing properties and challenging project developments.

His additional professional experience includes working in project development for a renowned general contractor and participating in the early stage of a real estate investment foundation where he gained extensive experience in all departments. Before he led two investment groups as portfolio manager for several years, he was head of transaction management.

In addition to his studies in architecture with a specialization in real estate economics, he holds an M.A. in law from the University of Fribourg. As a trained carpenter, he is also very familiar with the practice-oriented approach in the construction industry.
