Project development and sale of a new construction project in the region of Bern
AREA developed on behalf of an international industrial group their new headquarters for Switzerland and sold the project in a structured process as a sale-leaseback transaction to an institutional investor. It was the goal of the future tenant to reduce its energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions with a sustainable timber construction. The wooden element construction method enables a short construction time and an early move-in of the tenant. The planning of the office and workshop building with Minergie certification was carried out in close cooperation with Strüby Konzept AG.
